Silent Sanctuary Rocks!!!

Hi!!!.Welcome to my blog 🙂 .This blog is about one of my most favorite OPM rock bands, the “Silent Sanctuary”.I will be sharing some information and history about them, also i’ll share my thoughts on why I think silent sanctuary is one of the best OPM rock band. While reading, feel free to listen and enjoy some of their tracks on the side of this post 😀 .

History of Silent Sanctuary

Silent Sanctuary was formed in 2001 with three founding members Norman Dellosa
(The vocalist and guitarist), Paolo Legaspi (bass guitarist and backing vocals), and Allen Calixto (drumer). As they grow as a band they started on mixing up their music with classical instruments to make unique sound thus, adding their fourth member,Anjo Inacay (a cellist) to their band.In 2002 they were asked to guest in a t.v show where a guy called Jett Ramirez is asked to make string arrangements for the band. After that Jett and Chino David (both are violinist) were asked to join the band. In February 2004, they released an independently produced full-length album in Millennia Bar and Cafe in Kamuning entitled Ellipsis of the MindJett Ramirez, then, left the band.

Later,Sarkie Sarangay (band’s current lead vocalist) took over the vocal duties for the band after Norman Dellosa’s departure.Jason Ronderovocalist/bassist of indie band New Modern became the band’s new bassist when Paolo Legaspi left the band after their successful debut album called Fuchsiang Pag-ibig, just months after Sarangay joined the band.

My thoughts on why silent sanctuary is one of the best 😉

Wooh!!! To be honest I didn’t know this much about silent sanctuary before making this blog.It is really fun to know more about things we really like aye? 🙂 .Putting those aside,I personally like the unique style of this band. For me the violins and the cello give their music a “Shut up and listen” vibe. Not in a rude way but in a way that you’ll enjoy their music if you’ll just shut and listen, but ofcourse singing along cannot be helped 🙂 haha. They also make a lot of #HUGOT songs where a lot of people can relate to, that’s why a lot of people turn from normal mode into #SentiMode when they can connect their lovelife into silent sanctuary songs.

Thanks for reading!!! 🙂 😀

If you are still reading up to this part I like to say “Thank You Very Much” as a token of appreciation and I would also like to thank google and wikipedia for providing some of the informations i used to make this blog. ( XD XD XD )
